New Album - Simply Darlene
Ok...so a few months ago the guys from INO records (who I've worked with for years now...love them!!) asked me to put down a bunch of my older songs with just piano and/or guitar...to be called Simply Darlene...
So I took Craig Gower and David Holmes up to the Grove studios for a few days...and it is now done. So...I pray that it will be a great blessing.
We are also working hard on writing and releasing a fresh worship project, and christmas project...SO...keep praying...love you guys... X Darls

As a young Christian, in my home church in the D.R.Congo, we grew up with Hillsong praise and worship songs, and Darlene was a role model in our eyes. She is well know by our generation of Christians. We sang Hillsong songs translated in French. They are part of our lives stories.
Now I am a Pastor in my mid-thirties living in South Africa (Sandton, Johannesburg), married to Joelle a poweful gospel singer. Darlene is still an inspiration to us. We pray in the evening mostly with Hillsong and Darlene songs. Our six months baby boy David is excited when we sing these songs. We are passing this torch (Hillsong and Darlene's songs) to the next generation.

Darlene I'm so blessed by the songs that you have sung over the years. They are so beautiful and full of praise and worship to God. I can't wait to hear that music that is coming out soon. By the way, you are such a blessing to the people in Uganda. The worship songs of hillsongs are used in many churches to worship God.
