A New Year
Hey lovely people!! Just returned from what would have to be one of the best holidays we've had for a long time! We feel refreshed inside and out, and ready for all that God has instore. I took a few great books away with me... Bill Johnson's 'Face to Face with God' and 'When Heaven touches earth', and then two books on missions, and how we can more effective as Christians in our day to day lives. I seriously pray that our lives would be defined by His presence, amidst all the doing, that our BEING IN HIM, devoted and aware of the Holy Spirit in our every moment would take us in directions we never dreamed.
And lets keep believing God for miracles throughout Haiti... Don't be found judging, but be found LOVING, caring, extending ourselves, giving and praying. And for those of us who can, please give generously to anyone who is serving directly in that area at the moment. We have been giving through COMPASSION Int, who have teams on the ground there as they serve the many many children who are in need of extra help at this time. Hi Darlene, Thank you so much for accepting to be an instrument of God's worship to the world. I have an enormous thirst to sing for God the way you do. I believe that one day, i will stand on the pulpit with you and wi shall sing together, even if its a hymn. I dont worship you, get me right, but you have been an inspiration to me in a way i cannot explain. Only God will reward your efforts.
